合版印刷相對(duì)于專版印刷，合版印刷的優(yōu)勢(shì)使單價(jià)比較低，少量可制作，交貨速度快。但鑒于合版印刷采用網(wǎng)絡(luò)傳版，集中印刷，分?jǐn)傎M(fèi)用的方式，也存在缺失，在合版印刷中難免會(huì)造成色差的問題。因合版印刷為多個(gè)客戶檔案拼版印刷，因此無法考量單一客戶對(duì)顏色要求及調(diào)正，如拼在重墨區(qū)時(shí)，顏色即會(huì)偏重，一般來說合版印刷會(huì)有約略10%的印刷色差，就算是同一印刷檔同一印刷紙質(zhì)，每批多少也會(huì)存在著色差。

滿版色塊（大范圍只有單一色塊無論深淺）在印刷時(shí)容易造成重影及滾輪痕跡或印墨不均問題，若是對(duì)顏色要求的客戶，建議以專版印刷為優(yōu)。所以在印刷上需要格外注意，統(tǒng)一色彩管理流程，將不同的客戶的畫冊(cè)印刷文件整合進(jìn)行調(diào)圖，再進(jìn)行拼版印刷；相同色調(diào)的印刷文件進(jìn)行排列。

對(duì)于正規(guī)合版需要根據(jù)印刷的需要以及印刷廠印刷設(shè)備的不同，在上機(jī)印刷前拼版的時(shí)候要按照實(shí)際情況進(jìn)行不同的調(diào)整，在對(duì)開和全開的印刷機(jī)上可以用套曬、拼曬，并通過自翻身或正反印刷。在進(jìn)行拼版的時(shí)候個(gè)注意拼接部分需要留出6毫米的出血位，即每個(gè)單頁四周需要留出3毫米的出血。
