紙張的保管是一項(xiàng)十分重要的工作，紙張?jiān)谶\(yùn)輸過(guò)程中，切不可從高處向低處拋擲，以免發(fā)生散件和損傷，紙件切勿豎立儲(chǔ)運(yùn)，應(yīng)當(dāng)一律平放，不宜在露天停放時(shí)間過(guò)久，要及時(shí)搬進(jìn)車(chē)間或者倉(cāng)庫(kù)。

紙張防潮，紙張對(duì)空氣的濕度非常敏感，紙張中的水份含量總是隨著空氣中濕度的變化而變化的。儲(chǔ)存紙張的庫(kù)房應(yīng)當(dāng)清潔，干燥，或者直接放在膠印車(chē)間里，紙堆要離開(kāi)地面一段距離，要離開(kāi)墻壁。儲(chǔ)放處的室內(nèi)相對(duì)濕度保持在60%-70%，而其室溫應(yīng)以18-22℃為適宜。

紙張必須避免陽(yáng)光直接曝曬，否則將因紙張中水份被蒸發(fā)而發(fā)脆、發(fā)黃，同時(shí)會(huì)使紙張變形上翹。如果變形那么無(wú)法使用印刷。紙張防熱。紙張不應(yīng)當(dāng)儲(chǔ)放在溫度過(guò)高的地方，當(dāng)一般紙張受到超過(guò)38℃的高溫時(shí)，其強(qiáng)度顯著降低，而且要翹曲變形，特別是銅版紙則會(huì)粘結(jié)成塊造成報(bào)廢。紙張防折，紙張儲(chǔ)存應(yīng)平攤堆齊，避免一折三疊那樣放置，堆放時(shí)，切不可使紙張的兩端交錯(cuò)突出，否則突出部分容易變質(zhì)。

If it is deformed, printing cannot be used. The paper is heat proof. The paper should not be stored in the place where the temperature is too high. When the general paper is exposed to the high temperature of more than 38 ℃, its strength will be significantly reduced, and it will be warped, especially the coated paper will be bonded into blocks, resulting in scrap. Paper folding, paper storage should be flat stack, avoid a fold three fold as placement, stacking, must not make the two ends of the paper staggered prominent, otherwise the protruding part is easy to deteriorate.

印刷用紙的厚度，緊度、平滑度、塵埃度，含水量，酸堿度及對(duì)平版膠印的影響，這些紙張的特性直接影響到印刷品的質(zhì)量，對(duì)上機(jī)印刷速度等都有影響。紙張的厚度均勻一致的話(huà)，上機(jī)印刷的質(zhì)量也就會(huì)更好。

平滑度，紙張的平滑度是需要紙張表面平整，光滑的程度，光滑了上機(jī)的速度也就可以暢通，提高印刷速度，印刷品也相對(duì)清晰。

紙張是印刷的關(guān)鍵，印刷廠(chǎng)對(duì)于車(chē)間的溫度濕度都要控制，如需緊缺紙張可以囤貨，常用紙張不變的化，盡量庫(kù)存少，隨調(diào)隨用也可以減少資金壓力。
