精裝書是一種書的裝訂方式，配有具保護(hù)性的硬底封面(普遍采用硬紙板，外覆以織物、厚紙或小牛皮等皮革)。在大陸的圖書一般都是簡(jiǎn)裝書，但是簡(jiǎn)裝書不適合保存，精裝書就是一種美觀，易保存的圖書，具有很高的收藏價(jià)值，所以圖書收藏愛好者和圖書館都喜歡精裝書。

Hardcover book is a kind of book binding method, with a protective hard bottom cover (generally using cardboard, covered with fabric, thick paper or leather). Books in Chinese mainland are generally simple books, but the simplified books are not suitable for preservation. 精裝書常見的幾種形式：

一、按書脊形式來(lái)分，有方形書脊和圓形書脊兩種。

1、 According to the spine form, there are square spine and round spine.

1、方形書脊，其厚度要比書芯顯得厚些。由于書芯折疊及索線的原因，書脊的高度要高于書芯，印張?jiān)蕉嘣矫黠@。因此，方形書脊的精裝書不宜太厚，一般適用于20mm以內(nèi)的書脊。

2、圓形書脊，因前后書貼的地位略有不同，書貼的折疊處略呈半圓形，分布在一個(gè)弧面上，其厚度得到平衡。書芯的翻口處與書脊的凸圓形相適應(yīng)，呈凹圓形。所以較厚的圖書采用圓形書脊較好。圓脊書是經(jīng)過(guò)扒圓加工后背脊成圓弧形的，一般以書芯厚度為弦與圓弧對(duì)呈130°為宜。圓脊又可分為圓背無(wú)脊(只扒圓不起脊)和圓背有脊(扒圓起脊，起脊的高度一般與書殼的紙板厚度相同)兩種。

2. 二、按用料分，可分為脊面同料和脊面異料兩種。
